Nicky's 4th Day in Childcare

Today is the 4th day in Childcare and I was really like a real Spy! peeping and dodging everytime nicky looks or walk towards my direction!

This morning, when i sent him to school, he allowed his teacher to take his temperature, check his hands & feet, and remove his shoes. And then he walked in steadily, turning around to wave Goodbye to me even! The rest of the day, i manage to take some pictures (mostly backview) so that he can't see me.

After Breakfast, he was happily playing that I dont tink he realised that I was gone...still doing very well.


Until I left for quite some time, and had breakfast before heading back to the childcare to peep at him, another parent was signaling to ah dee that our nicky is crying and standing at the door. But he didnt cry for long. The teacher came over and carried him back to join the rest...and he was ok.

He did well for his outdoor activity today as he was willing to walk on his own all the way :)


After the walk, he settled down to have lunch but it was not long before he started to cry! And really he was crying...could hear him loud & clear...then after awhile, he stopped. Then they had a bath. I guess the reason why he started to fuss, was because it is pass his nap time...(usually he has a nap between 10am to 12pm) and these few days, this routine is changing. So I will need to adjust his nap time over the weekend and just hope that he will get used to this soon :)

In the meantime, i went back to bring nattie and myrla over to the childcare. This is to familise myrla with the procedures in case she needs to fetch or send nicky...
When we picked Nicky up, he shouted "Ma! Ma! Ma!", while running towards me and started to cry! Ooops...and than his favourite chinese teacher said that he settled down beta after his bath...and he was actually following her until we came. *a sign of relief* at least his teacher said he is ok today. :)

Today, i would rate Nicky 8 out of 10. Cos he did beta than what i expected! ;)
