KL Trip

Our KL trip! ;) we started our journey at 4am on saturday morning. yup, cos we wanted to avoid the jam at the 2nd link. we picked KaoFu up before heading to tuas check point. here's nicky, up from his sleep cos we had to transfer him into the carseat...lucky he went back to sleep after his milk...

Some entertainment for nicky, I recorded one episode of Pocoyo for nicky to watch on my hp :)

Lucky the queue wasn't very long when we reached, but we could see the jam building up behind us...We met the rest inside malaysia so that we will not be caught in the jam. and in the other car, it was the pang family, sharon & joseph :)

I was in-charge of the children's snack etc. to keep them busy and feed them with bread in case they get hungry along the way. Ah jen was in-charged of their meals cos she brought along her slow-cooker to cook in the hotel.

Here's Nicky keeping himself busy with his fav raisin breadstick along the way. Am very happy that he sat in his car seat throughout the whole journey, which was about 5+hours including stopping for breaks.

Waiting for ah dee's cousin, Gary to meet us, he will be bringing us to my favourite Chee Cheong Kai for dinner...

Not all the streets along KL are child-friendly...so we carried the kids most of the time, especially when walking, taking and changing trains...

Nicky was sleeping away :) so i could eat...hee hee

My long-awaited yummy dinner at Chee Cheong Kai. This is the famous "moon" hor fun or something they called it~the egg yolk represents the moon...and the yummy BBQ "stingray". Yup, we waited 45 mins for the BBQ stingray...(as expected)...

On our last day, ah dee bought some toys for nicky and here's one of them, Thomas the train with 8 songs that you can play...

Feeding time on the couch as there were no high chairs...we were waiting for some of them to finish their massage and Gary to meet us. He brought us to this new place at medan imbi for some good food, recommended by Kaofu, cos his colleagues brought him there the last time. But he cant remember where it was...so lucky we had Gary...
PhotobucketPhotobucket

Big Prawn san-mee ~ the prawns cost 16 Ringgit for 100grams...this plate was enuff to feed all 8 of us! no hands to take pics of the other dishes cos nicky was sleeping away again... :) which was good, at least i could have my dinner..
Photobucket

Oh yes, as we couldn't get any connecting rooms, this is what we got..."connecting" doors! our room doors faced each other...so we jus need to open the doors and the kids can run too and fro...every morning and night, they just run across the rooms.. i'm sure they had lotsa of fun too!

And here's nicky in his spiderman suit! :)

And here's another toy that ah dee got.. gun with sponge bullets...urm, he said it was for nicky but i tink it is more for himself...look who is enjoying it more?
Photobucket

I chanced upon Etude House...everything was on sale. So i went back again on the last day to buy more stuff since there were further discount....and this time I decided to try the BB cream range...my loots ~ excluding my compact powder which I've already packed...
Photobucket

This time, I tink i did very well with shopping..bought stuff from Etude House, shoes from Vincci (a must!) and Submit. Clothes - SIN$50 for 4 dresses! other than that, we just ate and ate and ate.
;)

Returning home, we definitely had to stop by A&W ;) the root beer float, corney dog...only we missed out the waffles cos we had to wait 45 mins for it...so we had to give it a miss this time...

The kids playing at the sports shop ;)

And of cos, ah dee had to buy something for nicky...a small soccer ball :)
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Our scenery :) and yes, we were caught in the jam along KL highway, cos there was an accident...then also at Tuas 2nd link, we were caught in the jam for about 1+ hr. Everyone coming back from M'sia. We left KL at about 2pm and reached home at about 9pm. ;)
PhotobucketPhotobucket

It was really a good break...just for a few days... I would say it was good enough!
Thank you everyone for helping out during the trip...and your patience. Cos it is really not easy travelling with children. Hope you guys enjoyed yourselves too!
