this evening, we were having some time together, just me and the kids. And while playing, nattie did something wrong...and our conversation went...

me: girl girl (in a stern voice)
nicky: GIRL GIRL (SHOUTING)
me: no nicky, not so loud, mei mei will get scared~
nicky whispered: girl girl.. grab her and gave her a hug, than kissed her hand and said "i love you"

My mum and I were discussing on BeBe's next grooming ~ which is soon and we were telling and showing nicky how long BeBe's hair is getting and that we cant see his eyes anymore... Shortly after, my mum took nicky downstairs for a walk. And they walked pass our chiong-cheong hair salon.

my mum asked: nicky, is this where you cut your hair?
nicky: yes.
Than he pointed into the salon and said: BeBe?!

Golden Words

it's tea time and when we ask, what grandpa wants?
nicky: coffee

and off he went to buy coffee with ah dee, when he came back,
nicky shouted at the door: I'm back!

...

nicky had a straw and after he played with it,
my helper: come, pass to auntie
nicky: i'll throw (and walks to the bin)

...

nicky lined up all of his trains together...and when he found the last one, he shouted to ah dee, "one more!"

Litter Bug?!

My dad calls Nattie, a Little Bug ~
it started maybe a month ago? I had no chance to video this down... and finally i did it ;)

and here's why...

Updates on Nattie ~ she has fully recovered from her cough & flu and her phlegm is all cleared! *cross my entire body* and please don't come back again!

Anyways, came across a post recently and felt that it is so so true ~ it is about how things change after each baby:

1st baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics, Baby Swing, and Baby Story Hour.
2nd baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics.
3rd baby: You take your infant to the supermarket and the dry cleaner.

Ok, for me, it stopped at the 2nd baby, which is bad enough ~ I hang my head in shame too!

It's RED ALERT and since it seemed so true, i'd better do something before it really happens! And I did ~

1st step: check out the introduction classes at Little Neuro Tree, marked down the date to make her class bookings when she is 12mths.

2nd step: marked down another date in my diary when she's 18mths old, Baby Gym.

Dinner Date with Cousin Reyes

On wed evening, we waited for jen to pick reyes from school to meet us for dinner. While waiting, i manage to take a good shot of nicky ~ and for once, there was no "NG" on this shot!

Jen made the 2 lil toddlers "do that thing in school" ~ 手拉手

Our Walk Home

Thank God for the rain again!

Our lil' fren has always been fascinated with snails! i dunno why, maybe becos of Mr Snail on babytv?

Or was it one of those walks he had with ah dee when ah dee introduced a Snail to him? Well ever since last weekend, he will open his eyes to spot them whenever we walked pass the park. He will ask for "NAILS" or "sNAILS" cos i couldn't really hear the "s".

Chicky Rice

Today, a day for the good old days in gardens ~ our fav pow sing chicky rice for lunch on a sunday ;)
and somehow... i guess no kid will ever say "No" to chicky rice...

our lil fren sat down for lunch, eating on his own for a start...and of cos, finished his lunch without any struggle~

well, of cos the amt of salt and MSG intake has increased tremendously today! no worries...i made him drink up a whole bottle of water before we got home. ;)

My mum had her bedsheets changed just today, and nicky wasnt around. Before bed, he goes for story-telling session 2 in her room. And when he climbed up her bed, he pointed out to the bedsheet and said "Nice!" ~

Nattie's visit to Dr Tan

Nattie was due for her 2nd dose of pneumococcal..and so the clinic made an appt for us on saturday. At the same time, we took the chance to see her for nattie's cough that never seem to be gone~ it was a good visit, and we felt at ease when Dr Tan says that her lungs are ok. Just need to get the phlegm cleared. So we are on a 5 day course of anti-botics and please bless this darn virus to be gone forever!

Poor baby~lotsa medicine ;(

Farewell Lyn

It's time to say Goodbye! My trainer. A lady who has a mega-memory, as good as a database! You can ask anything and she can give you an answer instantly ~

Haiz...i wonder how am i going to survive at work from tmr onwards. Anyways, i'm sure it wasn't easy for her to make this decision... I wish her all the best and of cos, we will be able to meet up again ;)

The Golden Words

I came across a blog and she was indicating the things and words that her kids said. she calls them "‘Recording’ Kids’ Daily Antics" and I casually brought it up when i was talking to my mum, and she said, yes! it is a very good idea...so that we can keep tabs and remember! ;)

so i hope that this will also help me to constantly update my blog ~ and to share with you guys and maybe even have a good laugh ~ The Golden Words ~ truly ours.

we went to mcDonald's for breakie and when i told nicky, we are going to mcDonald's, he goes, "Ee i ee i oh!"

we went to the club later for a swim and i brought nic & nat to see some of my dad's frens while they were at the mahjong room.
Since then, everytime i ask,
me: Nicky, where did Grandpa go?"

just yesterday, nicky pat me and said "poo-poo" and hits his diapers. Then he went to knock on the toilet door, cos my helper was inside and he shouted: Auntie! I poo-poo!

Makan Time = World War II

It's back again...looks like ah dee's new receipes are now old receipes.. Time to soruce for more again... ~ cos Nicky seems tired of them now and we are back to World War zone again during dinner... Finally, nattie is able to sit on her own without support, no bumbo seat too...but she loves to throw herself backwards (which is really dangerous) and starts laughing. ;)

Today, I've woken up with the "friendship bug" in my head again. I have pondered over this for quite some time...since end Jan? Dog-eyed friends ~ True Friends?

Ok, if you know me, you will know that I am someone who is simply happy all the time. Well, such things never bothered me. But this time, this has been in my head for a long time. Until a recent event, which really made me look at things differently. And yes, now, i do really believe Dog-eyed friends do really exist and I am surprised! why? I will never never do that to any of my friends. I will never choose or pick an event that I'd rather be at to another, in any case if the other is more "atas"?. and if i am there, I am there sincerely and not for other reasons.

Since I am at this, I would like to say a big Thank you to you guys for being there for me and loving me the way i am ~ :)

Updates~

Greetings from Singapore! ;) Hope all's well over in darwin, auntie sue... the weather has been really hot lately. it's the afternoon's sun that is really scorching! but somehow, wen we go for our swims during the weekends, the sun seems to be away~what's up? quite difficult to get a good tan... :(

i have been busy with nothing...trying to recover from a darn cough. work has been bad cos I've been doing OT for the past weeks and tmr even. sianz. Going to Zzzz now...will update soon~ TGIF guys! Have a good weekend!
