i learnt about this while surfing motherhood forum and went to their website to take a look...joelle oso mentioned that her fren's blog oso talked about it cos they brought their baby there too... so i called up to find out more, initally, i thought they were selling "the tub" that they show on the website and i was quite keen...then i realised that that was not for sale (so paisey) the guy laughed at me lo :(
hee anyway, I have decided that once i get the swimsuit for nicky, we can bring him to daddy's club...so no need to get a portable pool at home la... Cheryl, we can start to bring them swimming soon!!! get ready the swimming gear and diapers too hee (cant wait man!)
Anyways, mummies can try bringing your precious ones there... it is for babies aged from birth to 12 months old. They have trained more than 8000 babies to swim since they opened the 1st centre at Punggol Plaza in the past year (from their website) but well, the ladies there are quite professional and experienced so don't worry...
The next question will be "How did nicky react"? hee.... i was quite sad at first cos he didnt seem to enjoy it... he looked uncomfortable with the float around his neck pushing his cheeks against the float. So we tot that it was the float that looked too tight that was making him uncomfortable but the lady say it's ok cos it's his size. Then he was going to cry when we left him to move on his own... the lady asked if nicky sucks on the pacifier? and we said yes, she said to give it to him, so that he will feel more calm and relaxed. so we gave him the pacifier and wolah! he did show a sense of relief wor...So all of us looked at a baby with squashed up cheeks, with a float around his neck and sucking on A PACIFIER! well, it was REALLY a sight for me cos I have NEVER seen someone swimming with a pacifier lo! and there infront of me was my son doing that! hahahhhahaa really funny and I couldnt laugh cos i was video-ing this down...and didnt want to shake the cam... Ok..dont worry, we took out the pacifier after he has calmed down and he was kicking water without it :) so the next time, he will not need the pacifier to swim liao...so guys, this is a chance of your lifetime to see our future swimmer (SEA representative) with pacifier...
The lady explained: that this is his 1st time doing this kind of activity so gotta keep him calm and give him time to adapt to the water and learn what he should do next (for some babies once they get a fright, they will have phobia swimming in future) ... so ah dee moved his legs and made waves in the water so nicky can turn turn turn...(like Tsunami) and towards the end, he could turn and kick water on his own and he seemed to enjoy the kicking / swimming that when we took him out of the tub (approx 20mins later), he whined and looked quite sad...well i would say it was not too bad for a start, his 1st swimming session.

On the way to Punggol Plaza on NEL~jac jac said to take LRT from punggol MRT, 3 stops to coral edge...

After the 20min swimming~ we dry and dressed him. than in he went into his ride and just before we sit down at the zhi-cha store at KouFu, we realised that nicky has already KO liao...

While getting it, ah Dee told me that nicky's number open 1st price and he didnt buy at all!!!!***fainted**** aiya, always the case, dun buy will open, buy then wont open...haiz...
Back to my NEW hp ~ Checked the average User Rating: Spectacular 9 out of 10 & yesterday i told ah dee i love my new hp!! he said he could tell ****bleah**** :)
Free milk powder...
yup a lady from similac called me last week to ask if nicky was drinking this? i said no...then she said she wants to send me a tin to let him try...well, of cos ok la.. :)
at the same time, friso 2 also arrive today...the same delivery lady from friso sms-ed me to inform that they'll be delivering friso 2 this time, so i said ok.... :) ah dee was reading & comparing the contents for the 2 brands and noticed that similac has a higher % of fat content than friso wor...so i was like...urm-ok...we shall jus mix both powders and use it...and oso similac step 2 starts from 6 mths whereas friso 2 starts from 7mths... So mummies, please remember to upgrade to Step 2 when it is time...it's not the same for all milk powders~
Today is our LAST DAY OF OT...
and i took a shot of my OT submission form :) it's 32 hours of actual OT hours...
***imagining my hourly pay x 3 x 32???*** huat eh!!!!
