Remembering grandma

I see you looking at me,
it's hard tosee your face.
We never thought we'd lose you,
we thought we were back on base.
A sudden turn came over,
it all came on so soon.

At your funeral I cried,
I thought that I should have died,
but then I realized there was nothing I could do.

Till today, I still wished for you to be around.
To watch your lil' grand-grandchildren grow ;)
