Day 2 *updated*

Nicky seems beta, although sleeping at night was not too good. He pulled out his dressing and the wound was exposed. We got worried and decided to go back to KKH at 3am to get the experts to re-do and check if the wound is ok. Lucky all's well and this nurse did a beta job. But when she applied the antiseptic, wah!!! it was super OUCH, physically and emotionally for me. *i am pissed that he has to go through all these crap at such a young age, and the best part ~ it was simply uncalled for* haiz.


On a lighter note, Happy Birthday Rachel! and she had her big Birthday celebration by the beach...and of cos, we couldn't attend ~ though we had big plans for nicky to play by the beach. anyways, i'm sure you guys had a good time! ;) show me the pics soon!!

Thanks to everyone that had dropped by with well wishes and visits to my lil' man. He definitely enjoyed your company very much, especially Ms Yda & 陈老师! i'm sure he missed school...and you know how he always wants to go to school...Hope he heals well and fast, so that he is able to see you guys again and join the rest of his classmates!

ms Yda & 陈老师 came over on saturday...and our lil'fren was kinda shy/sad at first. Took him awhile before he warmed up and started showing his teachers his toys... :)

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

ah Dee's birthday was on Thursday, but we hadn't had the mood to post. Well, sorry and here it is! :)

Friday the 30th?

shouldn't it be Friday the 13th?

Today, it's Friday the 30th and it is definitely a bad day for us.
Well, to cut it short, we received a call from nicky's school only 12 mins after I left him there. As we were unable to make out what that teacher was saying, we rushed down. And I almost fainted when ah dee carried nicky out from the school!!! Nicky's finger was caught in the door and the teacher said she didn't see him or the other kids behind her!!!

***need i say more***....

We had to rush to KKH as the GP doc said it is a very deep cut and he needs to go to A&E. Lucky, the time taken to get there was not too bad, the morning jam was not that bad...X-ray, seen the doc, and done doc, reviewed and lucky the bones are ok. Stitching is a definite must. But he needs to be sedated before they stitch the wound up, and we had to wait for at least 3hrs after his last food or drink...

After stitching, we got a nice wrap from the nurses. This should last till tuesday when we go back for the review.

Received a call in the evening from doctor Leong at KKH, informing that the specialist had came and looked at nicky's x-ray and they do suspect that nicky might have a possible fracture, and we had to go back again.

So this time, the nurses bandaged his 3rd finger together wit his index finger so that the pain will not be so great on his finger and it will also help his wound to heal faster.

Only one word to describe: Traumatizing

Reyes is going to upgrade to Childcare on monday...and this post is to remind ah jen to pack these in...some items are missing eg. matter cover and pillows, towel... :)

Happy Birthday KaoFu!

Everyone who reads my blog will ask, what is "KaoFu"? (pronounce as "kao", "fu") and it means Uncle in cantonese.

We celebrated his birthday yesterday evening at Balestier Boon Tong Kee ;) Yumz!And this is KaoFu, Nicky & Nattie's uncle:

And of cos, our young fren enjoying it as well... yup, Nicky LOVES durians TO DEATH! One morning, he ate 3 sections for breakfast alone! And everytime he sees me clearing the durian seeds, he will whine and fuss away!

It's a CUT day!

Mini party hat? Nope...it's nicky's plaster!


It was on saturday afternoon, nicky attempted his 1st ~ poking his finger into the fan! and it's good that he knows the pain and hopefully, he remembers it...

It was my grandma's antique fan that Nicky could stick his finger through~ouch!


So i made him sit on the chair for awhile after the crying and nursing his wound. and he was caught stoning for awhile...

Now, when you ask him, what happen to your finger, he will proudly show you his thumb! Thumbs Up!


And the next morning, we got some antispetic from a pharmacy and this is the wound...

By mid-day, he would have changed at least 2 plasters cos these "children plasters" are really not adhesive at all...(which was suppose to be the purpose)... Well, this is what he showed us after he realising that his plaster had come off and that he had quickly slipped it in before he showed us... urm, he didnt realise that it was the wrong finger leh...which means, not pain anymore lo! :)

HairCut ~ DIY

Wana show off my cutting skills... managed to trim his hair quite abit...and now he has a shorter mushroom look ~ ;)
