Priya's Wedding

Attended Priya's wedding at the temple, which was really traditional! it was really an experience! :) didnt get much shots...cos I was too far away...so only got some shots as they walked in from the back...and the stage where they were sitting to receive our blessings and ang paos~ :) congrats Dinesh & Priya!!!

After giving our blessings, we went down by the back exit to makan... it's a makan area where everyone helped themselves to the buffet spread. It is a very different tradition, as the groom and bride doesn't join the guests.

We left after our dinner... :)

Turning Nicky :)

~ Yup~nicky has been learning to turn since 2 weeks back and everytime, he gets stuck with one arm under him and he will get fustrated but last nite, i watch him do it again and :)

Aunt Sue, this is Nicky now...he has grown alot more since the last time you actually saw him :)

Last Weekend~

it has been rather busy weekend for both me and Nicky boi~ lunch gathering at Emily's house was cancelled due to low attendance plus emily herself not feeling very well..so we went to over to my Grandma's house since noon and stayed for dinner as well. She's doing very well now with her feet **cross fingers** that the pain doesnt come back. :) we reached home around 8.30pm..poor Bebe havent had his dinner..and thank God, he didnt make a big mess at home.

Sunday was great, I felt that I did so much that day~woke up early to pick up my glasses at Toa Payoh - left everyone at home so that I can go and come back fast. Sunday traffic is always a breeze, few cars and as the weather was gloomy, even lesser people out in the morning...enjoyed my drive ~ Got home in time to wake sengSter up cos we have to go to Aljunied MRT by 1pm to pickup our LeapFrog items from the forum mummy~yay! Quite fast hor? But sorry ladies I could have gotten them earlier but had no time to go to her house at sembawang...cos I don't know how to get there...hee hee anyways, my bag was the biggest as always~ I've ordered:

Each of us paid $69.18 for the learning system and a story book~wah! that's like about 50% savings **YAY** cos I've checked Isetan, the last Member's Sale, they were selling the learning system for $99.00 each and the story book for $29.99 - $39.99 each. And the best part, I didn't know that there is already a storybook inside wor. So now we have 2 books each..can swap and exchange books. Cheryl jus sms-ed me and said that Hailey seemed more interested in ripping the pages apart and the sounds amused Collin and herself more then Hailey..hahahah I havent open Nicky's learning system cos he is now playing with the LeapFrog Ball (from my sis-in-law) :) "abcdefg~then u got to spin~hijklmnop~then you got spin~qrstuv....lalalalalala~

Sunday Afternoon ~ all of us at home went for our shopping spree at around 2plus when Kaofu reached our place. We met the Pangs at BuangKok mrt and took the NEL all the way to Harbourfront~easier la..no need to move the stroller in and out of the car ~ so tiring le...I continued my MNG sale from Friday with cooks and got more stuff at the VivoCity outlet.~OK time to stop shopping for me, till I clear some closet space! Cos my stuff cant go in anymore man:( kaoFu did his shopping but ended up buying things that were not in his shopping List tsk tsk tsk ~ but they were good buys la, so no complaints hor~

Bummed into Cheryl, Collin and Hailey outside the Oakley shop...wah everyone is shopping man! Cheryl, you are right, when Nicky is awake, Hailey will be sleeping and when Hailey is awake, Nicky will be sleeping~ how to pak-tor next time? *tsk* Well, Cheryl finally saw Baby pang and yes, he looks like Mr Pang still...***kekeke***

Sharon and Joseph oso met us at Vivo and all of us KENA Bomb-ed by RED BOMBS!!!! Their wedding is on 060708 and it will be held at Marina Mandarin Hotel ~ and I am glad that we will be sitting together **thanks Sharon** so at least I can eat like a pig and not feel paisey ;p i love wedding dinners le...can eat alot of good stuff...i'm so un-glam.. toking about weddings, Priya's wedding is this Saturday at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple (the 2nd temple along serangoon rd). Am looking forward to attending your wedding, Priya!! Congrats to both you and Dinesh~ :)

Esther's House Warming

on Saturday, we went to Esther's House for a little warming~and lunch :) and WOW! and I say WOW WOW WOW her house is very nice! It's all done up by her ideas...(poor david) and her theme is Black, White and Pink! hee and I am really very impressed by the way she has done up her house...it is really impressive cos I wouldn't in my life and next, imagine that esther can do it! enjoy~

Thanks to KaoFu! He went shopping and got these for Nicky boy! :) I love this version of Patrick, which is much fatter and blubbly....I think it is a float...cos KaoFu got it from a bikini shop in Far East...














Now Nicky has more presentable sleeveless tees to go out with (his 1st black tee too)... We went to compass point and got this cute little pig for $68, the uncle oso gave us a free bottle of scented solution as well....This helps in our air-con room, so that it is not too dry for Nicky~

Hee hee....waiting for Linda to send me more pics so that I can update the previous post on Linda's Birthday...(now updated!!! see below)

SATURDAY, we went to Rach's hse for steamboat yummy yummy yummy! and I got up at 7plus as usual..cos Nicky was awake already...milk time... :) so i did the cow's job and then got ready to go to the supermarket with mummy. Didnt bring Nicky along with us cos it was drizzling...my task was to buy pork, liver, button mushrooms and tang-hoon. Got the uncle to give me fresh pork and liver cos I was buying for like 10 people...so he got everything from the freezer, fresh and not even unpacked yet...great! at least we are having fresh food! we went home and got myrla to slice the pork and got ready to go for lunch at the ever famous Bah Chor mee at crawford lane, dad jus came back from darwin at 5am in the morning and decided that we should have Bah Chor mee as we haven't had it since my maternity leave...so off we went...

After the yummy lunch, we got home at around 1plus...decided that I better give Nicky a bath as I do not know what time I will reach home later...in case it's too late, Nicky won't be able to have his shower for the day...so i quickly bathed him and packed his bag..got to get ready before sengSter comes home...cos he will have his lunch, shower and we have leave the house already. Gotta reach Rach's place by 4pm. Jasmine didnt come over to go with us, instead...she took a train from AMK after supermarketing at AMK hub.

The Cheng's reached Rach's house slightly later cos we were held up by the rain and with all the transforming (putting Nicky in the car, transforming his ride to a tripod and then when we reach, transforming his tripod back to his ride), after so much, heng eh! we were still the earliest.. hee hee..met Jasmine downstairs while sengSter went to park the car...Esther is the LATE Queen of cos, coming from Bedok, she even popped by city hall to buy make-up!! that was like 5+ when she sms Rach if we wanted anything from there ***fainted*** lucky we have Jessica to play Mj, if not there will be NO mj for all of us that day. And for the 1st time, I didn't manage to take much pictures, only till the last part of the day... so had to get the pics from Rach...
