Daddy's Off Day

We had dinner at Serangoon Country Club as Daddy just got the club membership recently....we can go swimming once lil'nicky grows older... :) since the Club is cold, lil'nicky was able to wear the outfit that Linda got for him from her trip and he looked great! Thanks Linda!

....nothing can describe how good this sling is....I can bring lil'nicky out without having to push the stroller hee hee hee and the best part, still have hands for shopping!! hahah....

We met up with Momiji over the weekend and here are some shots of them...Momiji is already upset from the start and it is true that when one baby cries, the others will cry too!!

Hailey's Full Month Celebration

yep yep yep... Hailey is already 1 mth old and we attended the celebration yesterday. It was really nice seeing everyone there since Nicky's 1 mth celebration. And it was such a long time since I've met up with Linda too! :)

Hailey has been real good and we've managed to get some pictures of the both of them when Nicky was still sleeping~ and a nice shot of Hailey licking Nicky while he was sleeping....(can u spot it)?

Nicky's New Ride

A busy weekend for all of us...Saturday morning, us 3 together with KaoFu Lam & Auntie Jennifer headed to Kaki Bukit Shun Li Industrial at 1030am. We needed to get Nicky a new ride and a playpen. While KaoFu Lam, Auntie Jennifer & Auntie Sue wanted to get Nicky a baby monitor as a baby shower present.

Our 1st stop - Baby Hyperstore. There are so many different types of strollers Capella, Maclaren and many others and we chanced upon the Quinny ones...which looks very impressive and it has 3-wheels, stylo-milo...but for this stroller it can only be used from 9mths and above..and what happens for newborn? So....we found out that the MaxiCosi car seat is used from newborn onwards on the Quinny and then you can change it to the seat for 9mths onwards :) ***good idea*** as we already have the car seat given to us, all we need is to get the Quinny Zapp which will fit the car seat and BINGO! Nicky's new car ride~and he has been enjoying every minute since we got it..

For the playpens and monitors, the range is rather limited..so we decided to head to Taka as they were having a Baby Fair....the crowd is crazy and the queue was long everywhere...I decided to just grab the babycot-mobile and come back again for the playpen...it was a great bargain for the babycot-mobile from The First Years and little nicky is enjoying the motion as the mobile goes round and round...

1st March ~ Full Month Celebration

Full month celebration for Nicky and HAPPINESS for ME! End of confinement and I am FREE like a bird! Early afternoon, after collecting the cakes, I went to VariNice kopishop and I did it! I ordered my 1st Ice Lemon Teh and I told sengSter that simply ordering it already feels so Shiok liao!

I am free to eat almost everything except for seafood and some other stuff until the 40th day..this is an Order from Mummy so must listen la.... :)

Confinement really sucked Big Time...can't go out wearing T-shirt and shorts, must "pao dumpling" like that then can go out...actually I went out a few times liao to AMK hub and Compass Pt ooopssss, lucky Mummy is not too bad.. heh heh Only thing is the food cravings, initially I was quite sad cos I can't eat all the CNY food, which includes punggol nasi lemak, Pizza, KFC, laksa and of cos drinking COLD drinks....when my "best and supportive" family members feast infront of me! But I am quite happy that with the strict confinement diet, I get to lose weight! All the steamed and boiled foods does make a difference! and maybe breastfeeding does help you to lose weight too.. so I am glad that I manage to lose at least some weight during this mth.

While Cayden and Nicky are waiting for princess Momi-chan, sengSter took a snapshot for the both of them, as we are trying to see how much they have grown since their 1st picture taken on CNY (will be uploaded soon) and this one taken on Nicky's Full Month.

Lastly, we sent the freshly delivered Sweet Surprise cakes to office on Monday for my colleagues and it must have been a delight for them as it certainly was for me!

my 1st Jamu massage

After 18 days, today I started my 1st Jamu massage with Rohani..it was a good good massage after a long long while.. and she could tell that I dont usually massage often hahah... she will target 5 sessions for me, hopefully my tummy will be GONE COMPLETELY by then! I am not sure how heavy I am now cos I dont have a weighing machine at home, but the last check-up at Dr wong's, I have 6kg to lose to get back my pre-pregnancy weight!

Well i have not attempted to put on any of my pants yet, cos they are still in the bomb-shelter.. i only have my maternity clothes in my wardrobe still..too lazy to change my wardrobe back..maybe after my confinement, when I have 2 more months to kill...i will start to revamp my wardrobe and hope everything still fits man! heh heh heh

Another good news to share! Our long awaited baby Hailey has arrived on 18 Feb and both mummy and baby are doing well. Congrats to Colin and Cheryl! I will visit them once I finish my confinement! Here are some pictures of her and her proud parents:

...admitted to TMC on 30th jan, 11.30pm and after 12 hrs of labour, I've only managed to dilate 5 cm, didnt want to wait any longer...so went for c-sect instead..well, it was a blessing in disguise as nicky actually weighed 3.5kg!! I am glad that I didn't have to push him out.. heh heh heh..

Our Bundle of joy has arrived on 31st jan @ 1.15pm.. :)

Gynae Check-up @ 39th weeK

...sorrie for not blogging after soooooo looong... been busy with many things since x'mas!!

Well, I will just start from the most recent updates..both SengSter and I have decided to give our little ashley another name and he will now be Nicholas Ashley Cheng.. :) as for the chinese name, it hasnt been confirmed as yet, cos we are going to check with our Geomancer when little Nicky arrives!!

TODAY... we went for our weekly check-up at dr Wong's and I did the CT-scan for 30mins, had 2 contractions and the best part, i didnt even know it! It jus felt like little Nicky doing his wriggling moves as usual...only until dr Wong was checking me, she felt the movements on my tummy and she asked if i felt uncomfortable, i told her No..and she said, that was a contraction..Ooopss.. maybe it wasnt intense but it really didnt feel that bad...as for little Nicky, he is now estimated to be 3.4kg. As planned, little Nicky will be induced tomorrow as dr Wong is afraid that he will be too big for me to deliver naturally if i waited any longer..
